The art style in reminded my mom of
Scooby Doo. I assume she meant the cell shaded characters and the painted backgrounds.
She has a fairly accurate knowledge of past and current pop culture.
And often can jump into a nerdy conversation and actually contribute valid points that we may have missed. For instance, Chewbacca's homeworld is called Kashyyyk. Did the wookies name that? You think it would've sounded something like Hwouugh.
